The Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) is a legal requirement under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and is mandatory for the lawful placing of any cosmetic product on the European Union market.

CPSR – Part A: Cosmetic Product Safety Information

(In accordance with Annex I, Part A of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009)

• Physicochemical and microbiological specifications
• Impurities, traces and packaging material considerations

CPSR – Part B: Safety Assessment

Part B consists of the formal safety evaluation, performed exclusively by a qualified Safety Assessor, with a scientific background in toxicology, as required by EU legislation.

The Safety Assessment includes:

• Scientific evaluation and conclusions regarding the safe use of the product
• Definition of warnings and precautionary statements, where applicable
• Signed statement of compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009
